Coming back from vacation we found the A/C running constantly yet the house at 100 degrees. The A/C was an ancient Sears unit and we were not completely shocked that it needed replacement. Unfortunately our old but functioning furnace could not accommodate the new condenser coil so to really get the system working well it needed to be replaced as well. We choose a 15SEER A/C and a 94.3% efficiency furnace (which needed a new vent pipe as it could not use our chimney). Arctic Air did a great job with the installation. With a humid 98 degrees outside we are even getting over the sticker shock (albeit slowly)
