Oshkosh Trip

 
 

Total trip time is no more than 7 days, not including the positioning up from the New Jersey Coast to Chicago and back.

“Round Lake Michigan” is marked in Yellow while “10’000 Lakes in Minnesota” is drawn out in Green.

Planning for the upcoming Oshkosh trip and associated extended Motorcycle tour.




We will attend the famous Oshkosh Airventure to satisfy our hunger for winged machines and after 2 days of flying, airplanes, hangar talks and round motors we will hit the road with our Harley’s and head our for 5 days of riding and adventure.


There are 2 routes:

  1. •“Round Lake Michigan” does exactly that, takes us around Lake Michigan while visiting Lake Superior and Lake Huron. This trip will be in the vicinity of 1250 miles in length.


  1. •“10’000 Lakes in Minnesota” touches briefly on Lake Michigan and Lake Superior before bringing us alongside hundreds of smaller lakes in Minnesota. We will stop at the International Wolf Centre in Ely and  skirt the Canadian border at International Falls. It brings us to the Headwater of the Mississippi which we will follow roughly from St. Paul to a point in Iowa where we will turn back towards Chicago.
